Petrojet receives an order to support work of manufacturing deep-water equipment in the Mozambique Gas Liquefaction Project
For the first time in the East Africa region, Petrojet received an order from Baker Hughes International to supply and manufacture of 700-ton deep-water equipment including the number “7” “Well Jumpers”.
The marine processing equipment will be manufactured and tested by ferryboat, while it will be transported by the customer for deep-water installation in the Indian Ocean 40 km off the coast of the “Cabo Delgado” province of Mozambique.
These works are the first for Petrojet in East Africa, and a testament to the company’s efforts to achieve its strategy to work in these promising regions, especially Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
Petrojet has established a representative office in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, several years ago with the aim of following up on gas liquefaction projects that started recently in Region.
PETROJET participated in the 6th Mozambique Mining, Oil & Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition (MMEC), organized by AME Trade Ltd, in collaboration with ENH, which took place from 25 – 26 April 2018 at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Center in Maputo.
MMEC 2018 showcased and explored the developments in Mozambique’s thriving Oil & Gas, Mining, and Energy sectors and focused attention on the potential opportunities, lessons learned by key investors, and the creation of new business partnerships.
